Our 20th Anniversary

Nancy and I celebrated our 20th anniversary on June 6th 2007. We had made reservations for the occasion. We were going to the Grand Canyon. We found out the prior week that Nancy had ovarian cancer. Our vacation was to start on the 6th of June on the 4th of June Nancy was admitted to the hospital to have surgery.

HOW I MET NANCY

I used to ride the bus to work. There was this gal who used to get on the bus after I did. She always sat with her friend. I never saw her on the ride home.



I don't know why, but she stuck in my mind for some reason. One day on the way home from work to my surprise she got on the bus and sat next to me. I thought maybe, why not strike up a conversation with her. So I said something like "nice day" She looked at me and said "MEN" that was the end of the conversation. That's how Nancy and I started our relationship. I never did find out who had upset her that day.
